Atlas|Bear Announces Global Non-Profit Initiative

Washington, D.C., 31 July 2023 — Atlas Bear LLC, an expeditionary global risk intelligence consultancy specializing in frontier markets, is excited to unveil a unique new non-profit initiative in partnership with the recently formed Atlas Bear Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.

Inspired by the National Geographic Explorers program, this novel venture will amplify the Atlas|Bear mission to make a welcome difference in developing regions—and lay foundations for sustainable economic growth--using intelligence-led solutions.

This imaginative initiative will tackle key international security and development challenges by:

1.     Studying complex situations and problem sets

2.     Illuminating alternative courses of action

3.     Assembling high-performance teams to execute

Integral to this initiative is a research and analysis center which is already supporting select NGOs and donor-funded special projects.  The center will also house and support groundbreaking incubator and accelerator programs to embolden a global cadre of entrepreneurial security and development professionals.

By investing in the next generation of global problem solvers and solutions, Atlas|Bear will help impede activity that inhibits regional stability, while promoting initiatives that enhance local business environments and foster economic growth in various parts of Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
